The men of Michael McLaughlin '85 have risen again in the national rankings.

The Wildcats are now the No. 2 team in the United States.

USA TODAY announced the news on Tuesday. The poll was conducted by the United Soccer Coaches. 

The Soccer Cats will face off against two of the teams in the Top 25 this season. The Wildcats will visit the No. 1 ranked St. Benedict Prep in the last week of September. And the Wildcats' next game, on September 8, will be against Louisville St. Xavier. The contest will be held in Cincinnati on neutral ground. 

As of Wednesday, the Wildcats have a 5-0-0 record following a 4-1 victory over Solon last week.
