Runners and parents,

 The only racing this weekend was at the Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon.

 Coach Kenny Sullivan '06 ran 2:29.51 for 5th overall in the marathon!! He looked so good coming down the final 400m to the finish he could have run another 5K!

 The other team representative in the race was Cathy Gallagher, who cruised to a 1:55 in the half marathon!

This week's schedule:

 Monday -   Edgewater, 3:30-5:00. Bus transportation provided.

Tuesday -  JV/Frosh/Open pre comp, Saint Ignatius, 3:00-4:00; Varsity, Mastic, 3:30-5:15.

Wednesday -   JV/Frosh/Open, Saint Joseph Academy Invitational, Mastic Woods, 5:30. Bus leaves Saint  Ignatius @ 4 pm and returns immediately after the race; Varsity, Cedar Pt., 3:00-5:00.

Thursday -    Varsity only, Mastic, 3:00-5:00.

Friday - Saint Ignatius pre comp for districts,  3-4 pm.

Saturday - OHSAA District Race, Medina Ella Canavan Elementary School 1:15** (739 Weymouth Rd, Medina, OH 44256).

Sunday -   Off.

Monday, 10/23 - Walsh Running Warrior Invite at Walsh Jesuit High School, Freshmen/Sophomores, 4:30, Juniors/Seniors, 5:30. Bus leaves Saint Ignatius at 3 pm; Varsity, TBA.

** We would like as many runners, parents and fans to make it to Medina on Saturday to support the Varsity on its road to advance to the Regional Race at Boardman!
