The regular season came to an end in a fun way for the Saint Ignatius JV Gold and Blue teams on Saturday afternoon.

The JV squads competed in a Ryder Cup-style season finale at Avon Oaks Country Club to conclude the regular season.

From Coach Tom Beach: 

"The A team of Longano, Martin, Ripich, Shemo, and Klym defeated the B Team of Hazard, Giberti, Saunders, White, Gerrity, and Doyle.

The match between Gerrity/Doyle vs Klym was decided in favor of Gerrity/Doyle by the 11th hole.

The match between Saunders/White vs Ripich/Shemo was decided in favor of Ripich/Shemo by the 15th hole.

And, the match between Longano/Martin vs Hazard/Giberti was decided on the 18th green with a pair of birdies by Longano and Martin.
