As was reported in this corner's weekly Football Preview on Wednesday morning, Saturday's scheduled Junior Varsity Football Game at GlenOak has been canceled.

 HOWEVER, the JV 'Cats of Coach Paul Yappel are going to take on the Kirtland Hornets' Junior Varsity program on Saturday morning at Wasmer Field. The kickoff will be 10 am.

 For those who are not familiar with Kirtland football, the Hornets feature one of the premier small-school programs not only in Ohio, but the entire Midwest.

 You might recall that the Hornets defeated the Wildcats on the Junior Varsity level last season at Kirtland.

 This gridiron grinder will provide game coverage on the 'Cats-Kirtland JV encounter at Wasmer Field on Saturday morning and of course will be covering Saturday night's Week 7 Varsity football matchup with GlenOak on Byers Field in Parma's Robert M. Boulton Stadium. The kickoff from Ridge Road and Day Drive is 7 pm.
