The two teams defeated University School

Mother Nature provided beautiful weather, and the JV Gold and JV Blue golf squads provided the beautiful results on Saturday afternoon.

The JV gold teams each beat University School's JV squad at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course on Saturday.

The JV Gold Cats led the way in the 3-squad showdown, with a team score of 346. Jess Saunders guided the Wildcats with a medalist score of 77. The sophomore shot a 35 on the front nine in impressive fashion.

Zach Hazard nipped at Saunders' heels with a round of 78 on the afternoon. KJ Ripich tagged a score of 83, Nick Longano penciled in an 87, John Klym tallied a 91, and Kyle Gerrity booked a 93 for the Golf Cats.

With only the Northeast Ohio Championships remaining on the schedule, the men of Tom Beach conclude the year at 7-0 in matches against another team.

Meanwhile, Tom Bogen's JV Blue Cats did well for themselves, too. Matthew Giberti glided through with an 82 to top the team. Sean White cut a score of 84, Andrew Martin capped the afternoon with an 84 on his scorecard, Ian Shemo tabled a 95, and Liam Doyle rounded out the pack with a 97.

On the day, the JV Blue quintet scored a 346. University School booked a team tally of 367. As Coach Beach reported, all teams played from the white tees (69.5/125).

Congrats to the JV duffers on a good day of golf, and a great season to this point. The campaign concludes next Saturday with the Northeast Ohio Championships.
