Wildcats Remain No. 1 in OHSAA Computer Poll; Garner Respect in UA TODAY Polls

Saint Ignatius Football, as expected, remains No. 1 in this week's OHSAA Division 1, Region 1 Computer Playoff Rankings and the computer still likes the 'Cats in USA Today's Regional Football Rankings

 

 Ohio City - Although USA Today's "Expert" polls say otherwise, the Football Wildcats still hold on to the second spot in the USA Today's Midwest Regional Super 25 Computer Rankings, which were released today. Ben Davis out of Indianapolis remains No.1.

As computer playoff guru Joe Eitel posted on Saturday evening, the Wildcats remain No. 1 in the all-important OHSAA Division 1, Region 1 computer playoff ratings that were also released today by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

 Canton McKinley is second with St. Edward third; Mentor fourth; Stow fifth; Massillon Jackson sixth; Solon seventh; Massillon Perry eighth; Euclid ninth and Canton GlenOak 10th.

 The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the OHSAA Regional Quarterfinal Playoffs.
