The Saint Ignatius JV Blue golf team really loves Brookledge Golf Course.

Playing at the course for the second time this season, the Wildcats enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, scoring a 167 to Walsh Jesuit's 205 in a victory on Monday afternoon.

The score represented one of the best the JV Blue Cats have recorded all season, bested only by a team tally of 165 at Brookledge earlier this season. Both rounds are very solid scores for a JV Blue squad.

Sean White and William Doyle experienced exceptional days on the course. Each led the team with scores of 40 on the day. White notched two birdies on Par 3's in impressive fashion.

Ian Shemo tabbed a shiny score of 42 to finish behind the top Wildcat duo. Matthew Giberti penciled in a 45, and Andrew Martin carded a 46 on an all-around great day for the blue and gold.

Riding a wave of positive momentum, Coach Tom Bogen's JV Blue Cats will be back at it on Thursday. Bogen's boys will travel to the East Side for a matchup with Gilmour Academy at Shaker Heights Country Club starting at 3:50 p.m.
