The Wildcats have two games this week to move up the rankings.

Following a strong 4-1 start to the season, the Wildcats are among the top ten teams in the state.

The Soccer Cats have received the No. 4 ranking in the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Poll, the first of the 2017 season.

The Wildcats downed Solon, 4-1, last week following a dominant win over Walsh Jesuit. The men of Michael McLaughlin '85 also have wins over Sylvania Northview and Twinsburg on their resume.

Wasmer Field will host the Wildcats' next contest on Thursday. The Lake Catholic Cougars will come to West 30th and Lorain for the second straight season in a row. Following the rematch, the Soccer Cats will play host to the Mason Comets on Saturday.
