The JV Blue team dropped a close match to St. Edward.

The JV Gold Cats just can't seem to lose.

The JV Gold golf squad won again on Wednesday afternoon, defeating University School, 160-181.

The men of Tom Beach enjoyed a nice day at Stonewater Golf Course, enjoying nice weather and even better results.

Nick Longano and Jess Saunders tied for medalist honors for the blue and gold, as each notched a 38 on the afternoon. Zach Hazard came in close behind with a 41. KJ Ripich and John Klym each carded a 48, while Kyle Gerrity rounded out the team with a 48.

As Coach Beach reported, the rating and slope from the white tees was 70.0/125.

After improving to 3-0 in dual matches, the Wildcats will receive a break before facing US again next Wednesday, this time at Sleepy Hollow.

Meanwhile, the JV Blue Cats dropped a tough contest to St. Edward. The Wildcats fell narrowly, 175-181, on Wednesday afternoon.

Matthew Giberti headed the pack with a 41. Fellow freshman Sean White nipped at his heels with a 45, just ahead of William Doyle's round of 46. Frosh Andrew Martin and Ian Shemo completed the day with scores of 49 for the Wildcats.

Tom Bogen's men will receive an opportunity to revenge next Wednesday, as the JV Blue Cats will have a rematch with the Eagles at Avon Oaks.
