Brian Becker's men return to the course on Sunday.

The Golf Cats kept swinging the clubs well on Saturday after a brief respite for the start of the school year.

On a beautiful day on the far east side of the Cuyahoga River, the Wildcats finished second out of a 22-team field at the University School Tournament. Hosted by US, the invitational took place at Windmill Lakes Golf Course.

The Wildcats penciled in a team score of 306, beating rivals such as St. Xavier, St. Edward, Walsh Jesuit, and University School.

Only Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin edged out the Wildcats, with an impressive team score of 295.

Jake Moraca guided the Golf Cats with a team-best tally of 73.

The Wildcats are right back at it on Sunday, taking part in a 20-team tournament hosted by Gilmour Academy. Fowlers Mill will serve as the location for the invitational.
