The JV Gold Golf Cats have improved in every tournament so far this season.

The squad started off with a 2nd place score of 333 at the Hudson Invitational and then took 11th with a tally of 320 amongst mostly varsity teams at the Saint Ignatius Invitational. And on Monday, the Wildcats improved further to score a 316 to win the University School JV Invitational.

Hosted by University School at Berkshire Hills Golf Course, the tournament featured a field of 10 teams. The competition included strong schools such as University School, Archbishop Hoban, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, Walsh Jesuit, and St. Edward.

Connor Warns anchored the Wildcats on the course. Warns shot a 75, leading the Golf Cats and earning medalist honors.

Meanwhile, the JV Blue squad finished fourth with a score of 352.

The JV Gold team, led by excellent coach Tom Beach, participates in the St. Charles JV Invitational on Tuesday in Johnstown, Ohio, located northeast of Columbus.

The JV Blue Cats return the course on Saturday, facing off against the Knights of Archbishop Hoban.
