The Basketball Cats have won three games in a row, and a significant amount of the credit can be placed on the shoulders of Austen Yarian.

The senior is this week's Student-Athlete of the Week, based on his red-hot performances as of late.

Yarian aided the Wildcats in wins over Lutheran East and John Marshall this past week. Yarian scored 13 points against the Falcons on the road, and notched 16 points and an impressive 19 rebounds against the Lawyers at home on Saturday.

The Cleveland native has dominated inside the post for the Wildcats, averaging a double-double for the basketball squad.

Yarian and the Wildcats stand at 11-4 on the season entering a big home contest against Cleveland Heights on Saturday. Yarian will be critical to the Wildcats' efforts against a Heights squad that eked out a season-opening win over the Wildcats in December.
