A Saint Ignatius soccer legend will lace up on Saturday in search of a championship.

Justin Morrow '06, a midfielder for Toronto FC, will play for the MLS Cup on Saturday in Toronto. Morrow and Co. will host the Seattle Sounders at 8 p.m. on FOX.

A former Wildcat soccer player, Morrow helped to build the foundation of what has become a dynasty on the corner of West 30th and Lorain.

Morrow captained the 2005 Saint Ignatius soccer squad that rolled to a 23-0 season, winning the program's second state title and first national championship.

The Wildcats claimed their eighth state championship and fourth national title this past fall under extraordinary head coach Mike McLaughlin '85.

Morrow earned All-America honors for his efforts for the Wildcats in 2005.

The Cleveland native then attended the University of Notre Dame, playing for the Fighting Irish for four years before the San Jose Earthquakes drafted him in 2010. The Cleveland native now starts at left midfielder for Toronto FC, playing a critical role on the team. Morrow assisted on a goal in the 68th minute against the Montreal Impact on November 30, forcing extra time. Toronto FC scored two goals in extra time to advance to the MLS Cup final.

Previously, Toronto FC defeated the Philadelphia Union in the Knockout Round, 3-1, and New York City FC in the Semifinals on aggregate goals, 7-0. On the season, Morrow has started 31 of the team's 33 games, notching 2 goals and 2 assists.

Best of luck to Justin and Toronto FC on Saturday!
