Friday night's OHSAA Division I Regional Championship Football Game versus West Side rival St. Edward will be played at Bedford Bearcat Stadium. The kickoff will be 7:30 PM.

The record 11-time Division I State Champion Wildcats (11-1), who defeated the 9-2 Eagles, 34-7, in the regular season finale at the Browns' First Energy Stadium, will be facing St. Edward for third time in the OHSAA Playoffs. St. Edward is the two-time defending big-school state champ.  

Saint Ignatius defeated St. Edward, 37-0, in a first-round playoff matchup in the Wildcats' 2008 State Championship season and 20-17 in a second-round matchup in the Cats' State Championship season of 2011.

Saint Ignatius will be selling tickets to Students only on the first day of sales and further ticket information for adults will be announced.

As always, the corner will be previewing the 55th gridiron matchup with St. Edward on Tuesday night. Saint Ignatius leads the series, 29-24-1.
