Congrats to Coach Dr. Mike Gallagher's Harriers on their seventh-place ranking in the state. PLEASE NOTE THE LINE ON THURSDAY NIGHT'S FRESHMEN FOOTBALL GAME THAT ACCOMPANIES THIE CROSS COUNTRY POLL.

Posted By Mr. Eddie Dwyer

I would have congratulated the defending state champion Wildcats Harriers earlier this evening, but a couple of lighting delays totaling near two hours delayed the start of Thursday night's Freshmen Football Game versus Erie (Pa.) McDowell. I just arrived home after covering the Freshmen Game, won by the young 'Cats, 27-7, on Wasmer Field, and changing a flat tire on I-90 on the way home.

This soaked to the bones old-timer will have a story on the Freshmen Cats of the gridiron coming up tonight, but if you are headed for the pillow, enjoy it with your coffee or tea in the morning.
