Heading into this past weekend, the defending State Champion Wildcats of Coach Dr. Mike Gallagher '71 were ranked third in the coaches association's state poll for Division 1.

Solon was number one, Louisville was second, Thomas Worthington was fourth, Mason was fifth and St. Xavier was in the sixth spot. Again, that was heading into this past weekend's Tiffin Carnival.
