From Coach Franzinger: The defensive staff named Kevin Ward '17 our Scout Offense Player of the Week for Mentor week.

Kevin gave a great look as a WR beating our guys deep a few times, making some nice catches, getting up after every hard hit, and most of all displaying an evident eagerness to make the team better and secure a victory vs. Mentor.

For his efforts, Kevin gets cold Gatorade after every practice this week and a pizza lunch today. His humility is impressive, remarking to me after I gave him Gatorade that he "just loves playing the game" -- in a bashful way telling me that these rewards are too much.

We will award as we see fit -- it will not be an automatic award every week.  A young man must earn the award.
