Wildcats 1st in USA TODAY and Coaches' Polls

Wildcats soccer earns the top ranking nationally by USA Today and, as expected, the 2-time defending and record seven-time OHSAA State Champions are No. 1 in the Coaches' State poll. As we reported earlier, the Cats are second in the Top Drawer Fab 50

Here are the top 10 Division I teams in the Ohio High School Soccer Coaches Association's first poll of the regular season.

1. Saint Ignatius (4-0-0) – Total Points: 100

2. Columbus St. Charles Prep (5-0-0) – Total Points: 86

3. Mason (3-0-0) – Total Points: 79

4. Beavercreek (4-0-0) – Total Points: 63

5. Medina (2-0-1) – Total Points: 59

6. Dublin Coffman (3-0-0) – Total Points: 48

7. Olmsted Falls (3-1-0) – Total Points: 38

8. Copley (3-0-1) – Total Points: 33

9. Centerville (5-0-0) – Total Points: 18

10. Cincinnati St. Xavier (3-2-0) – Total Points: 11

Receiving votes: North Royalton, Westerville Central, Warren Howland and Hudson.
