Wildcats Cross Country places fourth in the Varsity Division I Race at Saturday's annual Canton GlenOak Invitational

Cleveland, Ohio - The defending State Champion Cross Country 'Cats, resting some of their top runners, placed fourth in Saturday morning's Golden Eagle Invitational Varsity Division I Race with 103 points. In the All-Team results, the 'Cats  were third with 138 points.

In the Division I Race, Liam McGuire was 10th in 16:59.3, Collin Kelly was 14th in 17:06.5, Andrew Biehl was 15th in 17:16.1, and Matt Blouch (17:38.9) and Nathan Soria (17:43) finished 30th and 34th, respectively.

Louisville took first place in the Division I Varsity Race with 33 points, Massillon Jackson was second with 82 points and Brecksville-Broadview Heights was third with 102 points. 

Louisville and Jackson went 1-2 in the All-Team results with 42 and 114 points, respectively.

Up next for Coach Dr. Mike Gallagher's harriers is the annual Hilliard Davidson Hot Summer Bash on September 3 at 9 AM.
