Saint Ignatius' outstanding senior George DiCamillo, who is seeking his third consecutive championship at the nationally acclaimed Walsh Jesuit Ironman Tournament, won his first three matches at 120 pounds on Friday, including a fall over Mathias Zollinger of Wadsworth, 3:01.

George has moved up to 120 this season after winning Ohio's 112-pound championship last season. He will face two-time state runner-up Calvin Campbell of Lexington in Saturday morning's quarterfinals.

Wildcats 106-pounder Jimmy Ferritto, a wrestler to watch this winter, decisioned L.J. Bailey of St. Edward, 3-1, in a consolation match on Friday.

HOCKEY TEAM IS NOW A PERFECT 10

Senior forward and career points, goals and assists leader Paddy Spellacy solved Shaker Heights' defense three times, junior forward and co-captain Miles McQuinn did the same and senior goalie Matt Kovesdy had 19 saves as Saint Ignatius overpowered the highly regarded Raiders, 8-0, at Thornton Park on Friday night.

Also lighting the lamp were gifted senior forward and Plain Dealer Player of the Week Liam Geither and senior forward Eamonn Walsh.

The Wildcats will take a 10-0 record (2-0 in the Red North Division) into Saturday's Red Division face off with the Padua Bruins at Brooklyn's John M. Coyne Recreation Center. The puck will drop at 4:45 p.m.
