As expected, Saint Ignatius and St. Edward remained 1-2, respectively, in both The Plain Dealer's Top 25 seven-county football poll and the Associated Press Division I state poll. Saint Ignatius also remained 14th in the highly respected USA Today Super 25 Massey national rankings.

The Wildcats and the Eagles will match 9-0 records when they meet for the 50th time on Saturday night at 7 in Parma's Byers Field. As we said on the corner Sunday night, if you don't have a ticket (the game is, as usual, a sellout), you can hear the 50th meeting live over the Saint Ignatius Student Broadcasting Network with John Fanta '13 and Greg Ziton '13 describing the action.

Saint Ignatius leads the series, 27-21-1, and the corner will have a special preview on the game tomorrow night.
