Sunday's "official" OHSAA computer poll and playoff brackets only confirmed what the corner reported in its Wildcats football game story from Saturday night, that Saint Ignatius (9-1) will meet Austintown Fitch (9-1) this coming Saturday night in a Division I, Region 1 quarterfinal playoff game from Parma's Byers Field. The kickoff will be 7 p.m.

Posted below is the Region 1 bracket. Take note that according to the bracket, a possible rematch with top-seeded St. Edward would have to come in the Region 1 championship game. The corner will preview the matchup with Austintown Fitch on Tuesday night.
