Saint Ignatius defeats highly ranked Olmsted Falls at Cloverleaf Lanes on Saturday for its second consecutive victory and stands 2-1 on the young season.

Posted by Eddie Dwyer and presented by Saint Ignatius bowling coach John Kastanis.

There are three different categories:

1) Scratch = Wildcats win 5-2 (7 point total)

2) Handicap = Wildcats win 7-0 (7 point total)

3) OHSAA = Wildcats win this 1-0 (1 point total). This win is based on the grand total of pin fall.

Olmsted Falls Total Pin Fall = 3260 / Wildcats Total Pin Fall = 3333.

Our star bowlers for Week 3: Junior Billy Farr = 211, 244, 192 total of 647; Sophomore Garret Forest = Total of 2 game set 211, 204 total of 415. Garret came off the bench to sub and what a wonderful job Garret did to contribute to the Wildcats' win over #1 ranked Olmsted Falls; Junior Anthony Giancola = 230 / 572 series; Junior Phil Criswell 224 / 576 series and Senior Andy Maykut 562 series.

I am very proud of each individual player as the team came together in this huge victory. This was Olmsted Falls' first lost of the season.

The Wildcats are in 3rd place in the Scratch Division, record of 12-2, and in 1st place in the Handicap Division, record of 12-2, and tied for second in the OHSAA Standings, record of 1-1.
