*Saint Ignatius' two-time undefeated state champion George DiCamillo '12 is making a big impression at Virginia. Here are links to a current article on George that Wildcats Athletic Director Rory Fitzpatrick '88 shared with the corner -cavalierdaily.com/m/article/2012 or http://www.cavalierdaily.com/m/article/2012/12/dicamillo-emerges-as-wrestling-star

Congratulations go out from the corner to junior wrestler Anthony McLaughlin, whose 170-pound championship performance at the Solon Comet Classic earned him Plain Dealer Wrestler of the Week honors.

Saint Ignatius' standout senior defensive end Matt Gawlik said he has been offered to further his education and football career at Gannon and that Ashland University is also very interested and will probably offer him in the very near future.

Matt is currently preparing for the 2012-13 basketball season as a key member of the Wildcats' front court.

And just in, the Mountaineers of West Virginia have officially offered a football scholarship to Wildcats All-Ohio junior linebacker Kyle Berger.

West Virgina joins The Ohio State University, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Illinois as those major college programs who have made scholarship offers to Berger. Like Matt, Kyle is preparing for the varsity basketball season.
