Coach Sean O'Toole's varsity basketball team, which is gearing up for Saturday night's trip to Canton McKinley, remained in the third spot in this week's Plain Dealer seven-county Top 25 basketball poll.

The PD's fine nine - 1. Shaker Heights; 2. St. Edward; 3. Saint Ignatius; 4. Villa Angela-St. Joseph; 5. Mentor; 6. St. Vincent-St. Mary; 7. Cleveland Central Catholic; 8. Brunswick and 9. Garfield Heights - remained unchanged from a week ago. Joining the top 10 this week is Richmond Heights, which travels to St. Edward on Friday night.
