The Ice Cats, behind another solid performance in goal by senior Mike Mulach and two goals by sophomore forward Jack Wiegandt, defeated St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, Pa.), 4-0, this morning in the semfinal-round of the presitigious Purple Puck Tournament in Washington D C.

Saint Ignatius (12-4-3), which also had lamp lighters from junior forward Riley Ellis and sophomore forward Ethan Whitney, will now face the winner of the Loyola Academy-Gonzaga semifinal in today's championship game. The puck will drop at 3 p.m. in the Fort Dupont Ice Arena.
