In their 78-75 victory at Detroit Jesuit on Wednesday night, the Wildcats' varsity basketball team made 27 of 41 shots from 2-point range and 5 of 6 3-pointers for 68 percent shooting overall.

These numbers go out to one of our faithful readers, Mr. Teglas, a.k.a. "What's New on the West Coast?"

Mr. Teglas thought the numbers announced after the game were a bit high - 73 percent shooting. That said, 68 percent is just fine.

By the way Mr. Teglas, sorry about the tough and somewhat bizarre season your USC Trojans had. Ah yes, cherish those days of Coach McKay and Coach Robinson, when defense was a priority at Fight On!
