Presented by Wildcats bowling Coach John Kastanis and posted by Eddie Dwyer

Results versus Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School for the seventh week of the bowling season.

NOTE: This match was bowled on Saturday, 12-29-12, instead of the original 1-5-13 scheduled date, due to the Ohio State Classic Open Tournament, which the Wildcats will be competing in this Saturday (1-5-13).

There are three different categories: 1) Scratch - Wildcats win 7-0 (7 point total). The Wildcats' total pin fall for this category - 3014 (1086, 1009, 919), an average of almost 203 per bowler (Awesome!). Brecksville (864, 909, 891) - total of 2664.

2) Handicap - Wildcats win 7 - 0 (7 point total).

3) OHSAA - Wildcats win this 1-0 (1 point total). This category is based on the grand total of pin fall
of scratch pins, plus the total of two baker games.

Brecksville's total pin fall - 3015; Wildcats total pin fall - 3375.

*Our star bowlers for the seventh week: Junior Billy Farr – 213, 198, 226, series 637 (Awesome!), Senior
Andy Maykut – 237, 204, 190, series 631 (Awesome!) and Freshman Ralph Deadwyler – 206, 233, 187, series 626 (Awesome!).

Junior Phil Criswell 217 and Junior Anthony Giancola 213 also contributed to the Wildcats' victory against
yet another top competitor in Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.

FROM COACH KASTANIS: "I am so very proud of this team. We were down between 50-70 pins in the
end of the 5th frame of the first game against Brecksville. At the start of the sixth frame our lead off guy, Anthony Giancola, began with a strike, which ran for 20 straight strikes - four strikes from each bowler. In other words, the team went four straight frames of strikes in defeating Brecksville, 1086 to 864. They did not give up and that momentum flowed into the rest of the competition, sweeping Brecksville in the match."
