Here are the bowling results vs. Brookside High School in the ninth week of the bowling season.

There are three different categories.

1. Scratch - Wildcats win 7- 0 (7 point total). The Wildcats' total pin fall for this category - 2813 (927; 989; 897) vs. Brookside (658; 693; 656) - total of 2007.

2. Handicap - Wildcats win 7- 0 (7 point total).

3. OHSAA - Wildcats win this 1-0 (1 point total). This win is based on the grand total of pin fall of scratch pins plus the total of two baker games.

Brookside High School total pin fall - 2312; Wildcats total in fall - 3186.

Our star bowlers for the ninth week: Senior Andy Maykut - Series Total 642 (Awesome) and Sophomore Antonio DiFranco - Series Total 596 (Awesome).

Also, Junior Anthony Giancola 200, Sophomore Garrett Forst and Freshman Gianni Schaefer contributed to the Wildcats’ victory.

From Coach Kastanis: “I placed some of our JV players that are very competitive to bowl against some of the Varsity teams to maintain our first place position in the handicap division. We are in a good position as we have three more weeks of competition left. The
rest of our schedule is fairly easy as the top teams need to compete against each other.

“We are also waiting on the final results of the Bear-Cat Classic Open Tournament that was bowled on Friday night in Cincinnati,” Coach Kastanis continued. “It was late and the results are supposed to be posted by Monday. I will keep you posted on the final results.”
