The Wildcats' volleyball team opened its season with a three-set victory over Villa Angela-St. Joseph and Saint Ignatius' junior varsity baseball team stands 3-0 after a 6-1 victory at Brunswick on Thursday.

In its first three games combined, JV 'Cats baseball has outscored its opponents, 23-2.
