UPDATED TO SHOW WEDNESDAY'S VICTORIES IN VOLLEYBALL, LACROSSE AND TENNIS. NOW THAT'S A THRILL-SOME THREESOME.

It is another busy end of the week and weekend in Saint Ignatius Athletics and, just to keep you up to date, here is a breakdown by sport.

Baseball: Coach Brad Ganor's Wildcats are scheduled to take on the always baseball-sound Twinsburg Tigers on Thursday at 4:30 at Baldwin Wallace University. The corner will have game coverage and John Fanta '13 and Wildcats hockey standout, the versatile Miles McQuinn '13, will have the call over the Saint Ignatius Broadcasting Network.

On Saturday, the baseball 'Cats will travel to Mansfield Madison for a twin bill. At 10 a.m., the Wildcats will face the Madison Rams and at 12:30 p.m., it will be a match up with Midview's Middies. The corner will provide coverage on both games.

Tennis: Coach Jon Barker's Wildcats, fresh off their 5-0 victory over Avon Lake on Wednesday evening, will face Copley on Thursday at 4:15 at Magnificat High School. On Saturday, it is the Rocky River Tournament at Tri-City Park. Play begins at 8 a.m.

Lacrosse: Coach Pat McManamon's Wildcats, who stand 5-0 after Wednesday night's 8-1 triumph at North Canton Hoover, are scheduled to play the Solon Comets at Solon on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Volleyball: Sullivan Gymnasium will be spiked with enthusiasm on Friday night, as Coach Casey Marcelo's Wildcats, who are 6-2 after a 3-1 victory at Walsh Jesuit on Wednesday night, take on the St. Edward Eagles. The junior varsity action begins at 6 bells, with the varsity encounter to follow. The corner will provide game coverage and John Fanta '13 and Carter Spearry '16 will call it as they see it over the SIBN.

Rugby: Coach Dan Arbeznik's Varsity A Wildcats are slated to face Cincinnati "Through These Doors Walk The Men of Moeller" on Friday night at Wasmer Field. Action begins at 7:30.

Track and Field: Coach Chuck Kyle's deep and gifted Wildcats travel to Gilmour Academy on Saturday morning for the annual Miele Invitational. The competition begins at 9 a.m.

Crew: According to the Saint Ignatius Athletics Page sports schedules, Coach Pat Connor's Crew 'Cats will be in the Dillon Lake competition in Zanesville on Saturday.
