Congratulations from the corner go out to Saint Ignatius head swimming coach Jeff Ridler and Wildcats All-Ohio and All-American standouts Derek Hren, Peter Simcox, Nathan Christian and Charlie Pophal, who were recognized for their outstanding efforts by being selected to The Plain Dealer's All-Star Team for 2012-13.

Coach Ridler was chosen as The PD's Coach of the Year after guiding the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the Division I state meet, the best finish by the program since the second-place effort in 2000.

Derek Hren and Peter Simcox were selected to the talent-laden team, and Nathan Christian and Charlie Pophal received Special Mention from The Plain Dealer.
