For our loyal reader and follower of Saint Ignatius athletics, Mr. Teglas, a.k.a. "How are things on the West Coast?", Kevin Kavalec's outstanding discus throw in Wednesday's first night of the demanding Amherst Regional was 182-10. The Wildcats' all-time record of 189-4 was set by Saint Ignatius' Assistant to the Dean Students, Ryan Franzinger '02, who is one of Kevin's throwing coaches.

Keep the questions coming Mr. T and try to survive another season with your beloved USC Trojans. I thought for sure there was going to be a changing of the guard at "Fight On." Good Luck this fall, you're going to need it.

NOTE: Mr. Teglas grew up on Cleveland's West Side and is a proud graduate of West Tech High School, once ranked among the best public high schools in the nation. He adopted Saint Ignatius as his favorite high school team when West Tech closed and became the apartment lofts you now see while traveling on I-90. They are known as the "West Tech Lofts." West Tech Field was the site of some of the most storied high school sporting events in the history of Greater Cleveland.
