Saint Ignatius head football coach Chuck Kyle '69 and his staff will send the 2013 Wildcats through the second mini camp of the preseason on Tuesday (June 18) at Wasmer Field.

The junior varsity camp will begin at 3 PM and the varsity will take the field between 4:30 and 5 PM. In what has become a summer tradition that our followers around the country seem to enjoy, the corner will follow the progress of the 'Cats throughout the mini camps and two-a-days.

In response to the e-mails that keep coming in, yes the Wildcats still have two open dates for this coming season - Weeks 7 and 8. We emphasize again that Saint Ignatius Athletics Director Rory Fitzpatrick '88 has calls and feelers out all over country, not just in Ohio. If a ninth game (or hopefully a ninth and 10th game) comes to fruition, we will let you know.

****Saint Ignatius is still in discussion with St. Edward about the possibility of moving the Week 10 game with the Eagles to Week 8, thus preventing both programs from having consecutive open dates. St. Edward is also looking to fill Weeks 7 and 8. An official announcement on that possible move would have to come from St. Edward. The Eagles are the home team for this season's game with the Wildcats.
