Brooklyn, Ohio - A huge congratulations goes out from the corner to Saint Ignatius' multi-skilled senior athlete Nick Fabian, who has accepted a baseball scholarship from the Mountaineers of West Virginia.

Nick was also being recruited by the baseball program from The Ohio State University, among others.

A player with five-tool type skills, Nick helped lead Coach Brand Ganor's Wildcats to a Division I state runner-up finish this past spring.

An outstanding outfielder with a big-time throwing arm, Nick received the Golden Glove Award during this summer's nationally acclaimed and tradition-rich CABA High School World Series in Euclid. Nick is also a solid hitter and he did some key work as a pitcher for Coach Ganor.

Nick, one of nearly 60 players under Coach Ganor's tutelage to earn the opportunity to play baseball at the next level, is currently a member of the Wildcats' gifted varsity football receiving corps.

Again, congratulations to Nick, his family, Coach Ganor and the entire Saint Ignatius baseball program.
