Wildcats golfers finish fifth in the 20-team field at Sunday's Archbishop Hoban Invitational.

From Coach Becker: The varsity golf team competed in the Akron Hoban invitational at Firestone Country Club today. The Wildcats shot a very respectable 305 and finished 5th in the field of 20.

Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller won the event with a stunning round of 288.

The Wildcats were paced by Jack Coyne, who finished 3rd overall with an impressive score of 68, and PJ Malik, who shot a Top-10 score of 75. Other scores for the Wildcats were:

Zach Morris (soph.) 79
MIchael Milam (jr.) 83
Dean Catalano (sr.) 84

The Wildcats will return to action next weekend when they play in two tournaments. Saturday we will compete in the always tough Walsh Jesuit Classic at Brookledge Golf Course and on Sunday we will play at Hawthorne Valley Country Club in the Gilmour Invitational.
