After leading the Browns to a thrilling victory at Minnesota last weekend, former Saint Ignatius and Michigan State mainstay Brian Hoyer '04 made his third NFL start and second for the Browns on Sunday and turned in another outstanding performance.

With Brian completing 25 of 38 passes for 269 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, the now 2-2 Browns turned away the Cincinnati Bengals, 17-6, at FirstEnergy Stadium and moved into a three-way tie atop the NFC North with Cincinnati and Baltimore.

This corner had the privilege to watch Brian's efforts in person on Sunday and let me just say it was a clinic on decision making and how to stay poised.

Congratulations to Brian and his family, the Browns' coaching staff and organization, and to the men who helped hone Brian's skills - Saint Ignatius head football coach Chuck Kyle '69 and Wildcats veteran offensive coordinator Nick Restifo.
