Coach Mike McLaughlin's varsity soccer team started its Washington trip in style by defeating Gonzaga High School at Catholic University.

Saint Ignatius, which improved to 7-3-4, will wrap up its trip with a game at Georgetown Prep on Saturday at 2 PM. The Wildcats are currently ranked fifth in the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association State Poll.
