Here are the results from Sunday's OHSAA Division I district seeding meeting courtesy of Saint Ignatius' outstanding assistant coach Joe Popelka '84.

Seeds:
1--Saint Ignatius at 7-3-5
2--St. Edward at 8-2-5
3--North Royalton at 12-1-1
4--Brecksville/Broadview Heights at 5-5-4

From Coach Popelka: Strength of schedule was the determining factor in the seeding. Plus North Royalton's loss and tie were against teams that St. Ignatius (and St. Edward) had beat.

We have a bye in the sectional semifinal round. We will open up postseason play on Saturday, 10/19, at home versus the winner of the Parma-Rhodes game. The game is supposed to be at night, but because this date is also the night of the Saint Ignatius-St. Ed football game we are going to play in the afternoon at a time to be determined.
