Here are the bowling results versus Villa Angela-St. Joseph in the first week of the 2013-2014 bowling season. There are three different categories, plus Baker Games:

1) Scratch = Wildcats win 7 - 0 (7 point total). Wildcats total pin fall for this category = 2473 (793; 811; 869) vs. VASJ = 1337 (413;464;460)

2) Handicap = Wildcats lose in this category 0 - 7 (7 point total). *Wildcats had to spot 555 pins for each game. This was very difficult to overcome, especially 555 pins/game.

3) OHSAA = Wildcats win this 1-0 (1 point total). This win is based on the grand total of pin fall of scratch pins, plus total of two baker games.
Wildcats Total Pin Fall = 2818. VASJ Total Pin Fall = 1815.

4) Baker Games = 142; 203 = Series total 345.

Our star bowlers for the first week:
Sophomore Ralph Deadwyler Jr. = 213; 193 = 406 series (Awesome)
Junior Garret Forst 214 game
(JV) Sophomore Austin Venczel 200 game

"This seemed to be a slow start for our Wildcats, we need lots of work. Looking forward to a successful year.
The whole league struggled, not many big scores." - Coach Kastanis.

Up Next for the Alley Cats: Versus Cleveland Central Catholic on Saturday (Nov. 23) at Cloverleaf Lanes.
