Into Saturday's competition, Saint Ignatius' wrestlers were in 13th place with 45 points in the annual Solon Comet Classic at Solon High School. Captains Anthony McLaughlin (182) and Kyle Vilsack (152) were leading the way for the Wildcats in the early going.

Clay High School was in first place with 110 points, Parkersburg (WV) was second with 85 points and Nordonia was third with 82.5 points.

The finals are scheduled for 6:30 tonight.
