Congratulations from the corner go out to Saint Ignatius' standout senior wrestler and captain Anthony McLaughlin, who won the 182-pound championship during Saturday night's demanding Solon Comet Classic at Solon High School.

As we reported in the corner's 2013-14 Wrestling Preview this week, Anthony was the 170-pound Comet Classic champion last season.

Congrats also go out to sophomore co-captain Kyle Vilsack, who advanced to the Comet Classic finals at 152 pounds and finished third, and freshman Tristan Brady, who finished fifth at 145.

As for the team scores, Nordonia, Clay High School and Parkersburg (WV) were 1-2-3. Saint Ignatius placed 12th.
