The Wildcats saw a 4-1 lead in the second period slip away Wednesday night, as they now stand 6-0-3 on the season after an overtime Great Lakes Hockey League match up in the Mentor Civic Arena.

Matty Geither, Ethan Whitney, Kevin Yarcusko and Jack Mazanec supplied the lamp lighters for Saint Ignatius, which will now gear up for this weekend's Culver (IND) Tournament.

Alex Piazza keyed the Lake Catholic offense with a hat trick, including the game-tying goal, and Cougars goalie Charlie Denner survived the early barrage to stop 48 of 52 shots. Lake Catholic's rally featured a short-handed goal. The Cougars had just 22 shots on goal.
