Sullivan Gymnasium - Coach Sean O'Toole's Varsity Basketball Wildcats continue to hold down the third spot in the Associated Press Division I state poll and the cleveland.com Top 25 area poll.
The 9-1 Wildcats, coming off a dramatic 62-60 victory over the underrated Warriors from Walsh Jesuit, are gearing up for Saturday night's headliner against the nationally recognized St. Edward Eagles (8-1) in the Eagles' Nest. Coach Eric Flannery's Eagles are ranked No. 1 in both the state and area polls. The varsity tipoff from St. Edward will be 7:30 and will be preceded by a 6 PM junior varsity game. Saint Ignatius' and St. Edward's jayvee teams are undefeated.
