The Bowling team wraps up the regular season with another tournament win as they get set for Sectional play.

BROOK PARK, OH - The Saint Ignatius High School Bowling Teams made their mark at the Ron Reeves Memorial Tournament on Saturday. The Varsity Alley Cats secured first place at AMF Brookgate Lanes in Brookpark, while the JV A squad also placed first in their division.

The Varsity Wildcats emerged as the Champions, beating multiple schools to clinch the top spot. The Wildcats scored 2,131 in regular play, securing the first seed in the match play. They advanced by defeating Brooklyn and Benedictine with scores of 2-0 and 2-1, respectively, then claimed the championship by sweeping Padua 2-0.

Notably, Grady Wilson and Hayden Voth earned spots on the 1st All-Tournament Team, with Wilson finishing third with a score of 436 for his two-game series and Voth placing fifth with a score of 396 for his series.

The team's unbeaten season of 11-0 gave them the top spot in The Greater Cleveland Interscholastic Bowling League for the 2023-2024 season.

Senior Hayden Voth, one of the key players of the Varsity team, said, "This is just another stepping stone toward the State Tournament in March."

The Wildcats are slated to compete next at the Sectional Bowling Tournament on Feb. 19 at Roseland Lanes in Oakwood Village.
