Bob Wolf graduated from Saint Ignatius High School in 2008. Wolf was a member of the Cross Country and Track & Field program as a student-athlete.
He attended Kenyon college, graduating with a Bachelor of the Arts in Biology in 2012.
He was hired by Saint Ignatius High School in 2014 as a teacher in the science department. Since returning to his Alma Mater, Michael "Doc" Gallagher '71 named Wolf as an assistant coach to the Cross Country program. Wolf as well was the head coach for the freshman cross country program.
Wolf competed in sprints and relays during his time at Kenyon College. Wolf is a technique coach; he is all about running efficiency to get the best results out of his student-athletes.
On February 26, 2021, Saint Ignatius High School named Wolf the next Head Cross Country Coach after Doc Gallagher retired in the fall of 2020. Wolf was then named Head Track and Field Coach for 2023 after the retirement of legendary coach Chuck Kyle '69.
