The month of December is shaping up to be a busy one for Sean Wracher.

Last weekend, the senior toured the University of Indiana on an official visit. Yesterday, the Wildcat took part in a press conference in Canton. On Monday, Wracher will take all of his semester exams. Then on Tuesday, Wracher will jet off to Mexico. 

The Wildcats' talented longsnapper will be playing in the inaugural Pro Football Hall of Fame World Bowl Presented by Xenith in Mexico City on Saturday, December 22. 

"I'm excited to travel. I was a little nervous at first with the long flight and then having to play, but I'll be fine. It'll be cool to play football somewhere else," Wracher said.

The Indiana commit earned the invitation on the basis of his great performance at a camp in July. Wracher was one of 40-50 longsnappers in competition at a camp at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton to determine the roster. Wracher finished first and won a chance to play on the world stage. 

"At first, I didn't think it would be a huge game, but the more it's developed, it's the top guys from the Under Armor Game and the top guys from the Army All-American game, and the coaching staffs are really cool – Rod Woodson and Ray Farmer. It'll be cool," the senior said. 

The Pro Football Hall of Fame, along with Rod Woodson, who is helping to organize the event, announced the game and roster yesterday during a press conference. Wracher took part in the press conference, posing for pictures with Woodson and Jowon Briggs (Walnut Hills), the only other player on the roster from Ohio. As Wracher noted, the title sponsor, Xenith, recently produced a new line of gear that Wracher and the players will wear for the first time. 

After taking his semester exams on Monday, Wracher will fly out of Cleveland with his parents on Tuesday morning. The Wracher's will land in Mexico City on Tuesday before the festivities begin on Wednesday. 

Wracher will officially sign with the Hoosiers during early signing day on Wednesday. Wracher and his team will practice leading up to the game, touring downtown Mexico City during their downtime. The players will learn about Aztec and Mayan cultures, visiting cultural landmarks around the city.

Wracher will also celebrate a life milestone during his first trip to Mexico – his birthday. Wracher will turn 18 on Friday. Not a bad way to celebrate a birthday! 

The Akron native and 66 other high school student-athletes from the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the Netherlands will then play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame World Bowl next Saturday at Azul Stadium in Mexico City. The game will air in the U.S. on December 27 at 7 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network. 

"I'm excited to play a game, because there's the big gap between high school and college," Wracher said. "It will be cool to go on a vacation almost and play in an all-star game, and play for such a cool coaching staff. I'm honored to be invited."
