In an informal JV championship between four teams on Saturday, the Saint Ignatius JV Gold and JV Blue teams finished first and second.

The Wildcats' two JV squads enjoyed a great day at Seneca Golf Course during 18-hole stroke play on Saturday, concluding successful regular seasons for both teams.

The JV Gold team won the match. The men of Tom Beach captured the title with an impressive team score of 305.

Jess Saunders carded a nice 77 to complete his junior campaign. JR Leedy nabbed an 81 to round out his freshman year, finishing fourth on the squad. Matt Giberti (83) and MJ Myers (85) rounded out the scores for the JV Gold Cats.

The JV Blue Cats finished second in the tournament. The men of Tom Bogen penciled in a team score of 329.

Liam Doyle tallied a team-high score of 77. Fellow sophomore Sean White nabbed an 81 on the day. Ian Shemo carded an 81, Michael Van Etten marked an 85, and Tyler Ove snagged an 88 to round out the blue team.

Walsh Jesuit's JV team finished third with a tally of 344, followed closely by a score of 346 recorded by St. Edward's Gold team 346.  The St. Ed’s Green team shot a 450.
