Following a week off for the Saint Ignatius varsity cross country team, the Wildcats remain No. 5 in the weekly Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (OATCCC) poll.

The OATCCC voters granted the Wildcats 185 points this week, two fewer than in last week's rankings.

Hudson (238) topped the poll, with 238 points and 10 first-place votes. Mason (227), St. Xavier (217), and Hilliard Davidson (201) sit above the Wildcats in the rankings.

The men of Dr. Michael Gallagher '71 return to racing this Saturday. The Wildcats will take part in the Strongsville Invitational at 20025 Lunn Rd in Strongsville. The weather calls for great conditions, at a seasonable 65 degrees with partly cloudy skies for the 10 a.m. varsity race. The Wildcats will be striving for plenty of personal records on Saturday in Strongsville.
