Throughout last summer and fall, Saint Ignatius' gifted long snapper Sean Wracher '19 was not only honing his special skills, but also devoting his time to those he works hand and hand with.

And it wasn't just the veteran kickers in the Wildcats' program that Sean always gave his attention to.

Through two minicamps this late spring, Sean's devotion to the Wildcats' outstanding kicking game under Hall of Fame Head Coach Chuck Kyle '69 has continued, and will remain that way throughout another run at what would be a 12th OHSAA Division I State Football Championship for Coach Kyle.

On Thursday afternoon, Saint Ignatius Assistant Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach Brad Ganor shared with this corner that Sean has committed to further his football career at Indiana University. Sean is also part of Coach Ganor's Varsity Baseball bullpen.

Sean had a significant number of schools interested in his vital long-snapping skills, including Penn State University, Pittsburgh and Toledo.

Matthew Trickett '18, who has taken his All-Seven-County area, All-Northeast Lakes District and All-Ohio kicking skills to Kent State University, will be the first to tell you that his numerous highlights last season, including a Saint Ignatius record 59-yard field goal and a 55-yard three pointer that tied the school record, wouldn't have been possible without Sean's efforts.

The kicking game produced 93 (89 by Trickett) of the Wildcats' 387 total points in 2017.

This corner would like to congratulate Sean, his family, Coach Kyle and the entire Saint Ignatius football program. I wish all of the best for Sean this summer and fall, and next year with the Indiana Hoosiers.
